深圳市工业设计行业协会（SIDA）联合Desall.com（意大利知名开放创新设计平台）共邀您为2019 年深圳国际工业设计大展设计官方纪念品。
大赛背景
SIDA和Desall邀请您为2019年11月3日至5日举行的第七届深圳国际工业设计大展（SZIDF）设计官方纪念品，所设计的纪念品必须是非技术性的产品。获奖作品将由SIDA和Desall的高层代表选出。正式的颁奖典礼将于2019年11月3日晚在深圳举行。获奖者将有机会在展会上展示自己的作品，SZIDF将提供一个免费展位以及支付获奖者参与大展期间的机票和住宿，以及享有展商的其他相关服务。
大赛说明
主题：
纪念品的主题可与第七届大展的主题 –“再设计 · 联万物”相符，所设计的产品须体现大展主题logo。
产品类型：
邀您设计SZIDF 2019的官方纪念品，它将代表展会的历史–今年是第七届–而要求设计日常所需的非技术性产品(例如：T恤、布袋、笔记本、笔这类的简单物件）。
参赛要求
相关Logo：
SZIDF和SIDA的logo应在产品设计中体现。
使用群体：
所有2019深圳国际工业设计大展的参与者均有机会购买此纪念品。
语言：
由于我们是一个国际社区，因此您上传的所有文本（摘要，描述，标签等）都应用英文书写。
如何使用/在哪里使用：
纪念品可是日常生活中的一款产品。
尺寸及重量：
您设计的纪念品须有标准尺寸，视设计的产品类型而定，并便于携带。
材料及技术：
您可自由使用您喜欢的材料，包括适合工业生产（而非工艺生产）的塑料，织物和其他材料。纪念品不得有电子元素，考虑到主办方需要及时生产出这款纪念品。
生产：
纪念品将由一家拥有大规模生产技术的中国工厂生产（如注塑等）。
参赛方式
参赛对象：年龄在18岁或以上的任何国籍的设计师和创意人才。
参赛费用：免费。
参赛作品：参与者可以提交一个或多个设计作品。
作品提交：www.desall.com网站“SZIDF 2019设计奖”有关页面上传及提交作品。
资料上传：上传所有可以更好地展示项目的图像（渲染，描述，CAD文件等），如有必要，您还可以提交包含额外材料的.ZIP压缩文件。

作品提交指南
产品设计图片：
上传的第一张图片将作为封面。为了更好的展示您的产品设计并吸引评审的注意，我们建议您上传的第一张图片内容包含产品设计的总体思路，且简要介绍接下来将呈现的内容。共可上传五张图片，我们建议您上传满五张图片，如有可能，从不同角度展示产品，同时也标注产品的主要尺寸。特别是对于产品设计竞赛，我们建议您至少上传一张中性背景的产品图，该图无需文字备注。为了呈现和展示您的项目，禁止使用受版权保护的图片，也不允许使用修改后的受版权保护的图片。如果使用第三方拥有的材料（例如图片库，视频库，文字等），请确保第三方允许您使用这些材料来参加该比赛，更多详情请参考比赛协议。如果需要提交多个设计作品或概念作品，每个设计产品需要单独提交：请勿一次提交多个产品设计。每个产品设计请上传至少1张图片；图片比例最好为4:3；文件格式：.jpg，.gif或.png; 色彩模式：RGB; 图片大小不超过：1MB。
说明：
我们建议您用好“摘要”和“说明”这两栏，将作品的所有文本信息填入这两栏。我们不鼓励您在图片中包含文字描述，因为可能不好翻阅（总之我们建议您至少上传一张中性背景的、无文字备注的产品图）。在“摘要”这一栏，您最多可以写500个字符，摘要需包含您产品设计的简短总结，在“说明”这一栏，您可填入所有其他信息。
其他材料：
除了产品设计图像之外，您还可以通过“档案文件”即“ArchiveFile”一栏，将其他资料以压缩包文件.ZIP的形式上传（请勿上传其他扩展名文件，例如.RAR压缩文件）。压缩文件中可以包含CAD文件，或者有更多该产品描述的PDF文件，产品模型或者原型图片，高清设计图片，3D文件（推荐stp或.igs格式– 您还可以包含一个快速可视的PDF3D文件）。.ZIP文档大小不超过100MB。您还可以通过上传页面上的“视频文件”一栏添加一个视频来展示您的项目，可以将视频也通过.ZIP压缩包形式上传，大小不超过50MB。
概念修改：
通过联系Desall团队来修改您已经提交的产品设计。以防需要修改已上传的产品设计，在上传页面将其保存为草稿(SAVE DRAFT)，再将您的请求通过电子邮件或者联系表单发至Desall团队。修改不是强制性的：它只是为参与者提供修改的机会，但不构成参与条件，在最终评估中也不具有任何优势。
隐藏选项：
只有在公开比赛的时候，您可以在提交作品的时候使用“隐藏”“hidden”设计隐私选项，这个选项出现在上传过程的前半部分。通过这样操作，您的作品在社区投票开放前，对所有其他用户隐藏不可见。总之，不论您什么时候提交作品，赞助商都将始终可见。此选项在上传阶段的前半部分完成后自动禁用：您可以在摘要中的“可选截止时间”段落中找到激活此选项的截止日期。

Company Description
Shenzhen Industrial Design Profession Association (SIDA) is a non-profit organization founded in
2008, the first Chinese association joining World Design Organization (WDO). Till March 2018, SIDA
has taken in 851 members from Shenzhen and across the country, and has built the Shenzhen
Institute for Innovation Design, the Sino-Finnish Design Park, the Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab
(SZOIL), the Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center (HIDC), an industrial internet design platform
and first the industrial design IPR station in China.
As the largest industrial design in Asia, Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair (SZIDF) (www.
szidf.com) has been held for 6 years in a row.
What we are looking for
SIDA and Desall invite you all to design the official for all the participants of the 7th edition of
the Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair (SZIDF) taking place on November 03rd-05th
2019. The gadget/souvenir shall be a NON-technological product. The winner will be selected by
a jury consisting of high-level representatives of SIDA and Desall. The official award ceremony
will be held in Shenzhen on the night of Nov 3rd 2019. The winner will be given the opportunity
to showcase her/his own works at the fair with a free stand and all travel and accommodation
expenses covered by the organisation, including other services specified in the Award paragraph.
Guidelines
For the correct realisation of your proposals, keep into consideration the following guidelines:
Product typology: you are invited to design the official gadget/souvenir of the SZIDF 2019 – now
at its seven edition – requiring a NON-technological product for everyday needs (for ex. T-shirt,
cloth bag, notebook, pen, simple objects, etc.).
Theme: with a view to representing the current edition of the fair, your gadget/souvenir shall express
the concept of “Redesign • Reconnect”, also by using the promo materials and logo of the fair
(see Material files).

How to use/where to use: the gadget/souvenir shall be a simple product, for daily useSize
and weight: the gadget/souvenir shall have standard size depending on the product typology
you suggest and be easy to carry.
Materials and technologies: you are free to employ the materials you prefer, including plastics,
fabrics and other materials suitable for industrial production (not craft production). The gadgets/
souvenirs shall have NO electronic components/features as they will need to be produced in time
for the fair at a low cost.
Production: the gadgets/souvenirs will be manufactured by a Chinese factory with technologies
for the mass production (e.g. injection moulding, etc.).
Logo: the logos of SZIDF and SIDA shall be visible and applied on your products (see Material files).
Customer typology: your gadgets/souvenirs will be sold to all attendees of the Shenzhen
International Industrial Design Fair 2019.
Deliverables: upload all the images that better present your projects (rendering, descriptions, CAD
files, etc.) and, if necessary, remember that you can also attach a .ZIP archive containing extra
materials.
Jury: all the entries of the contest will be evaluated by a highly skilled jury of representatives of the
Shenzhen Industrial Design Profession Association (SIDA) and Desall.
Evaluation criteria: in the evaluation of your submissions the Jury will take into account the
following criteria:

Language: since we are an international Community, all texts provided with your uploads (abstract,
description, tags, etc.) should be written in English.

Eligibility and submission
Participation is free of charge and open to designers and creative talents of any nationality aged 18
years or older. Participants can present one or more projects, but only the projects published on
the www.desall.com web site, via the upload page related to “SZIDF 2019 Gadget Design Award”
will be accepted.

1st AWARD – SZIDF 2019 EXPERIENCE
- International round-trip flight tickets + 4 nights at quasi five-star hotel + airport pick-up & dropoff;
- 6m x 6m standard booth + booth setup (in addition to the products and works of the winner,
the booth may also host materials regarding Desall and the award);
- Product prototype;
- One onsite bilingual (English-Chinese) assistant;
- One advertising page in the SZIDF catalogue;
- One page image-text presentation ads on SZIDF website for two years;
- Promotion in SZIDF community;
- Networking opportunities with design masters and design leaders;
- Free pass to all the concurrent forums and workshops;
- Award ceremony during the designers night of SZIDF on Nov 3rd 2019.
The services offered for the award are equal to about EUR 11,000.

The selection of the winner by Jury will be the result of an unquestionable evaluation and it will take
into account originality, feasibility and consistency with the brief presented.

Submission Guidelines
Project images: the first image attached from the upload page will also be used as the preview
of the project in the gallery. In order to better present your project and draw the attention of the
sponsor, we suggest you to choose a content that provides an overall idea of the whole project in
one single image, briefly including all the contents that will be further presented in the following
images.
We also suggest you to use all five image slots available from the upload page of the contest
and - where possible - to present several views of the project giving also an indication of the main
dimensions of the product.
For product design contests in particular, we suggest you to include at least one image with your
project on neutral background and no writings.
For the rendering and presentation of your project, the use of copyrighted images, even if slightly
edited, is prohibited.
In case of using materials owned by third parties (ex. stock images, stock videos, texts, etc.), make
sure you are granted all the licenses needed for participating in the contest, as further specified in
the Contest Agreement.
In case of submitting multiple projects or concepts, you have to repeat the upload procedure for
each project: do not submit multiple projects with a single submission.
You are required to upload at least 1 image; image ratio: preferably 4:3; allowed file formats: .jpg,
.gif or .png; colour mode: RGB; maximum file size: 1MB.
Descriptions: we suggest you to use the appropriate fields, “Abstract” and “Description”, to include
all textual information about your project. We discourage you to include textual description inside
your images, as they might result difficult to read (at all events, we suggest you to include at least
one image - if possible - with your project on neutral background and no writing). In the “Abstract”
field you have maximum 500 characters to include a short summary of your project while in the
“Description” field you can include all the remaining information.
Additional material: in addition to the project images, you are invited to attach further materials
in a .ZIP archive (NO other file extensions are allowed, such as .RAR) through the “Archive File”
field on the upload page. Among the various materials, you may include CAD files, PDF with further
descriptions on the project, photos of any models or prototypes, high-resolution images of the
project images and 3D files (preferably in .stp or .igs format - you may also include a PDF 3D file for
a rapid visualisation). The maximum size of the .ZIP archive is 100MB. You may also attach a video
presenting your project through the “Video File” field from the upload page, including it inside a .ZIP
archive with a maximum size of 50MB.
Concept revision: revision of your project by the Desall team. In order to request a revision, upload
your project including the description and save it as draft (SAVE DRAFT) from the upload page and
send your request to the Desall Team via e-mail or through the contact form. The revision is NOT
mandatory: it serves only as a further opportunity for the participants but does not constitute a
condition for participation, nor does it constitute any advantage in the final evaluation.
Hidden option: only in case of public gallery contests, you can submit your project with “hidden”
design privacy option, provided that you submit your project within the first half of the upload
phase. By doing so, your project will remain hidden for all other users until the opening of the
Community Vote, if any. At all events, your project will always be visible for the Sponsor regardless
of the submission date. This option is automatically disabled once the first half of the upload phase
has expired: you can find the deadline for activating this option in the Optional deadlines paragraph
inside the brief.

Cosa stiamo cercando

7a edizione della Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair (SZIDF) che avrà luogo dal 3
al 5 novembre 2019. Il gadget/souvenir dovrà essere un prodotto NON tecnologico. Il vincitore
sarà selezionato da una giuria di alti rappresentanti di SIDA e Desall. La cerimonia ufficiale
di premiazione sarà tenuta a Shenzhen la sera del 3 nov 2019. Il vincitore avrà l’opportunità
di mostrare i propri lavori all’interno di uno stand offerto gratuitamente, con tutte le spese
di viaggio e alloggio coperte dall’organizzazione, inclusi altri servizi meglio specificati nel
paragrafo Award.
Linee guida
Per la corretta realizzazione dei vostri progetti, tenete in considerazione le seguenti linee guida:
Tipologia di prodotto: siete invitati a disegnare il gadget/souvenir ufficiale di SZIDF 2019 – ora
alla sua settima edizione – con un prodotto NON tecnologico per le necessità di tutti i giorni (es.
T-shirt, borsa in tessuto, quadernino, penna, oggetti semplici, ecc.).

Tema: al fine di rappresentare l’edizione corrente della fiera, il vostro gadget/souvenir dovrà
esprimere il concetto di “Redesign • Reconnect”, anche utilizzando i materiali promozionali e il
logo della fiera (vedi Material files).
Modalità e luoghi d’uso: il gadget/souvenir dovrà essere un prodotto semplice, per la vita
quotidiana.
Dimensioni e peso: il gadget/souvenir dovrà avere dimensioni standard in base alla tipologia di
prodotto da voi suggerita e pratico da portare appresso.
Materiali e tecnologie: siete liberi di utilizzare i materiali che preferite, inclusi plastica, tessuti e
altri materiali adatti alla produzione industriale (non produzione artigianale). I gadget/souvenir
NON dovranno avere componenti/funzionalità elettroniche, in quanto dovranno essere prodotti
in tempo per l’evento a costi contenuti.
Produzione: i gadget/souvenir saranno realizzati da una fabbrica cinese con tecnologie per la
produzione di massa (es. stampaggio ad iniezione, ecc.).
Logo: i loghi di SZIDF e SIDA dovranno essere applicati sui vostri prodotti (vedi Material files).
Tipologia di consumatore: i vostri gadget/souvenir saranno messi in vendita per tutti i visitatori
della fiera durante la Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair 2019.
Materiali richiesti: caricate tutte le immagini che meglio presentino i vostri progetti (rendering,
descrizioni, file CAD ecc.) e, se necessario, ricordate che potete anche allegare un archivio .ZIP
contenente materiale aggiuntivo.
Giuria: tutti i progetti del contest saranno valutati da una giuria altamente qualificata di
rappresentanti dell’Associazione Professionale Design Industriale di Shenzhen (SIDA) e Desall.

Linee guida per l’upload
Immagini: la prima immagine caricata all’interno della pagina di upload del contest, corrispondeall’immagine di anteprima del progetto nella gallery. Per raccontare meglio il progetto ed attirarel’attenzione dello sponsor, consigliamo di scegliere un contenuto che riassuma il più possibileil progetto in una sola tavola, anticipando i contenuti che verranno approfonditi nelle immaginisuccessive. Vi consigliamo inoltre di usufruire di tutte e cinque le immagini a disposizione dallapagina di upload, mostrando - quando possibile - diverse viste del vostro progetto con un’indicazionesulle dimensioni. Per i contest di product design, si consiglia di inserire almeno un’immagine con ilvostro progetto su sfondo neutro senza alcuna scritta.
Ai fini dell’ambientazione o presentazione del progetto, non è consentito l’utilizzo di immaginicoperte da copyright, anche se parzialmente modificate. Nel caso venga utilizzato materiale diproprietà di terzi (es. immagini o video stock, testi, ecc.), assicurarsi di disporre di tutte le licenzenecessarie per la partecipazione al contest, come meglio specificato nel Contest Agreement.
In caso di invio di più progetti o concept, è necessario ripetere la procedura di upload per ciascunprogetto: non inviate più progetti nello stesso upload.È necessario caricare almeno 1 immagine; rapporto dell’immagine: preferibilmente 4:3; formati difile ammessi: .jpg, .gif o .png; modalità colore: RGB; dimensione massima del file: 1MB.
Descrizioni: vi consigliamo di utilizzare gli appositi campi, “Abstract” e “Description”, per riportaretutte le informazioni testuali relative al vostro progetto. Sconsigliamo l’inserimento di descrizioniall’interno delle tavole, in quanto potrebbero risultare poco leggibili (in ogni caso, vi consigliamodi inserire almeno un’immagine - dove possibile - con il vostro progetto su sfondo neutro senzaalcuna scritta). È inoltre possibile caricare un video di presentazione delprogetto nel campo “Video File” della pagina di upload, inserendolo all’interno di un archivio .ZIPdal peso non superiore ai 50 MB.
Concept revision: revisione facoltativa del proprio progetto da parte del team di Desall. Per farloè necessario caricare il proprio progetto completo di descrizione salvandolo come bozza (SAVEDRAFT) dalla pagina di upload e inviare una richiesta al team di Desall tramite e-mail o form dicontatto. La revisione NON è obbligatoria: rappresenta un’ulteriore opportunità offerta ai partecipantima non costituisce condizione necessaria alla partecipazione, né fornisce alcun vantaggio nellavalutazione finale.
Hidden option: per i soli contest con gallery pubblica è possibile caricare il proprio progetto conopzione design privacy “hidden” se si effettua il caricamento entro la prima metà della fase diupload. In questo modo, il progetto rimarrà nascosto a tutti gli utenti fino all’apertura dell’eventualeCommunity Vote. Il progetto, invece, resterà sempre visibile per lo sponsor a prescindere dalla datadi caricamento. L’opzione sarà disabilitata automaticamente superata la prima metà della fase diupload: la data ultima per attivare questa opzione è specificata nel paragrafo Scadenze facoltativedel brief.
